Sugiono, the new Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his gratitude to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who held the position for 17 years. He acknowledged Muzani’s significant contributions to the party and his role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. Sugiono also appreciated Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad for his efforts in building the party. He thanked all party cadres for their support and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity. Sugiono highlighted the need to work together to uphold the government’s programs led by President Prabowo Subianto and ensure the success of his leadership in creating a just and prosperous Indonesia. The new Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
